~ A Cycling Day at P.Ubin ~

Went to cycling at P.Ubin yesterday(1.Nov.05)
Imagine! Only after 1/4 of century, this is my first time stepping on the land of Ubin.
Feelin' soooooooo excited... Made a lot of preparation, brought my new Nike cap, brought my digital camera, brought my water bottle.. woke up at 7am to get ready (even earlier than my usual time for work).
Then Something happened!! I LOST MY NEW NIKE CAP - at the Jetty first thing in the morning!! *whine whine I cannot believe it, I haven't even got the chance to wear it and it is LOST!!!!! I was then exposed to the sun the hottest time of the day.

But good things happened too. I met my long-lost poly fren, Yvonne.Hehee.. honestly, was not very close to her last time, but when we met again, the feeling was soo good. She is still the same old self, bubbly and chatty. It just clicked!! :)

Back to the topic on the cycling trip.. OMG... the road was so so soooooooo bumpy at some points. I was not a very good cyclist, so I will sometimes not able to brake in time, or control my bike properly. And the bike kept going 'Ek Ek Ek' those squeeky sounds... maybe not oiled enough... there are some muddy paths through the forest and there was this group of ang mo, keep pressing us to cycle faster.. haha~ but we couldn't be bothered, I just secretly wished they don't get those muddy waters splattered onto us when they overtook us. And at one point, we had lost the track of one couple.. luckily, manage to re-unite... *Phew*
After cycling for a couple of hours, we went back to the more urbanized side of the island to have our lunch. Haha, at first, everyone was complaining not hungry, just want to drink water only, eventually, we still ordered a 10-course alike lunch lor.. and everything was finished ~ + a coconut for everyone... *Cooling*
Finally after the sumptous lunch, we were going for another round of easy ride, not as challenging as the first round. Cos by this time, everyone's butt were in pain... *haha...
Took a few pics and I felt like being embraced by the nature. The feeling was sooooo Nice!!
Finally by 5++pm, we finally picked our steps back to the main land ~ SinGaPore! hahaha....
